To the Journal editor:

I was reading one of the many recent news article regarding the revelation of President Biden’s mental state to the American public and I came across a quote that really made me think.

It was from the Democratic governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, and he said, “The American people have spoken. He’s (President Biden) the nominee. And so any will to try to take that away from him is actually disrespecting the democratic process.”

It made me think of the Democratic narrative that Trump is “a future dictator,” “the next Hitler,” “threat to American democracy,” etc. It made me think, who really is a threat to democracy?

The fact is that the Democratic Party started the political persecutions in this country. They did this in an attempt to eliminate a political rival, potentially subverting the will of the people and that is a threat to our democracy.

Democratic Party elites covering up the mental state of our president is a threat to our democracy. And trying to replace Joe Biden who, through the primary election process, was chosen by the people to be the Democratic nominee for president, is a threat to our democracy.

Look not at what might be done, but what has been done. Democratic politicians: Look in the mirror when you talk about “Threat to Democracy.”
