Plan is forgotten
To the Journal editor:
I would like to add something to Lorraine Leidholdt’s excellent (letter to the editor) in the March 6 Mining Journal.
Several years ago, the L.C. office sent us a form to be filled out stating our income. It further stated that someone would come to our unit to see if I’ve qualified for an energy-saving kitchen appliance. No one ever came. I have a 25 year old refrigerator that runs almost constantly — which is one reason my electric bill is so high.
Whatever happened to that plan? It seems most of your plans die and go to heaven. We are senior citizens but we do not forget!
