Problems stated

To the Journal editor:

There are 1.6 million out of 335 million Americans over the age of 13 who self-identify as trans-gender, or .05%.

There are 38 million Americans living in poverty, 680,000 Americans die per year due to poor nutrition and heart disease and 600,000 Americans die of cancer per year.

American women earn 80% of what men earn. The U.S. has the highest infant/maternal mortality rate among developed nations.

Hate crimes in the U..S increased 30% from 2021-2022. There have been 202 mass shootings in the U.S. THIS YEAR, which is only 150 days old.

Which of these things have risen to the top of many political agendas? Why? Please ask your representative to address America’s real problems.
