It’s time again to count our blessings
To the Journal editor:
Here is July, into the so-called summer season. Beginning with Independence Day July 4 lots of different activities, parades, outside cooking, family get-togethers. Again time to be thankful for blessings from the Lord. And I wrote on July 1, 2021, more sunny days, green grass, flowers are out, lots of beauty to see.
It’s also good not to watch the news much. Now’s it’s changing Roe vs. Wade, protests again. Plus it still seems like those in Washington, D.C., still can’t work together. I keep my focus on my spiritual way, in other word forever the Lord’s way. Helps me to keep my sanity and mind on a more positive path.
As I’ve said before our money paper bills still says In God We Trust. That’s not what’s happening people seem to not work together and now with climate change if we don’t they say the bad weather is just beginning. The tech age is going faster all the time. No personal connection. Also faster driving on the roads so be careful. I’ve had a couple of close calls of almost being forced off the road. So go the way of the world or as I say God is still there ready if you choose to follow His way. For me it’s the best way. Helps me to cope with all the negative things going on.
Let go and let God is a saying I use plus my last one is Jesus is the way truth and life not only now but beyond this life a much better place where love, peace and joy goes on forever. Amen.
