Biden gets blame for Afghanistan
To the Journal editor:
Shame on you President Biden. Shame on you for abandoning the people of Afghanistan to a horrible fate under the Taliban.
Our nation has tens of thousands of troops in countries around the world, but you would not leave 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.
The presence of those troops, with our air power, was holding the Taliban in check.
The blood of Afghan innocents and the return of mistreatment of women is all on you Mr. President.
President Obama made the same mistake when he took our troops out of Iraq and ISIS almost took over that country.
Apparently you did not learn anything from that terrible mistake.
