Volunteers deserve credit for work
To the Journal editor:
The Upper Peninsula owes a debt of gratitude to the many volunteer groups who’s community minded members donate their time every spring and summer to help keep our highways clean!
Most people take these groups for granted and don’t fully appreciate that it’s a huge task and benefit to all who love the U.P.
It’s a lot of hard work and we should all do our part by slowing down to help keep these wonderful volunteers safe as they perform this valuable community service!
