Police response appreciated
To the Journal editor:
I am in “awe” at the response and research Sgt. Daniel Verlin of the Michigan State Police wrote and published in the March 15 Mining Journal addressing my concerns and safety conditions of traffic on Marquette County Road 553 regarding the pedestrians crossing at the Marquette Mountain ski hill.
Thank you very much. It is extremely impressive for law enforcement to answer a subject of concern by a mere letter to the editor with resolve and follow up to monitor and implement any safety measures they feel needed.
You are the “best.” Thanks again.
