Funds were raised
To the Journal editor:
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 44 of Marquette would like to express our appreciation to the community for their overwhelming response to our recent Pop-A-Top for Poppies Can Drive.
Due to their generosity, we were able to raise over $2,600 for the Poppy Fund. This fund goes directly to the care and comfort of our local veterans.
A special note of thanks to Tadych’s Econo Foods (Andy) and Griffin Beverage (Jamie) for their patient instructions and assistance. They were terrific to work with.
