To the Journal editor:

Thank you for letting me be your Marquette County mine inspector for the last 20 years. I have met so many good people over the years. I felt that I did a good job and I hope to see the new mine inspector follow my example. The cooperative relationships that have been formed are excellent and worth continuing.

Working cooperatively with people is important as the mine inspector and I feel that John Hamel is the best candidate to do this and keep Marquette County safe in the coming years.

John has the common sense to do this job in a safe and productive way. These are the reasons I plan to vote for John Hamel as your future Marquette County mine inspector.
