To the Journal editor:

My father fought in the North Pacific Command during World War II. His brother fought in Europe during World War II. My father was a conservative Republican, same as his brother.

Despite the continuing horrific crimes of right-wing extremists, our president wants an idea (“Antifa”) turned into a terrorist group.

My uncle and father would not recognize the Republican Party of today. I used to think that fighting fascism was a good thing.

Why are people honoring regimes such as Hitler’s Nazi Germany or Mussolini’s Italian Fascist party? It is bad enough to see traitors wrapped in Confederate flags parading the streets of America, but they and Nazi lovers are OK with our president?

How utterly sad and disgusting.
