Flyover disappoints
To the Journal editor:
The highly anticipated Upper Peninsula flyover Tuesday was somewhat disappointing.
The two refueling aircraft looked like Delta planes coasting into the K.I. Sawyer airport from Minneapolis. They couldn’t spare a fighter jet to accompany them from the lower?
C’mon Gretch, this was a nice gesture to salute our medical workers, but we deserve better since we have been shut down up here the same as metro Detroit, with no scientific or medical justification.
