Lions extend thanks

To the Journal editor:

The 35th annual Chocolay Township Lions Club Halloween Party was once again a huge success, with over 400 children in attendance enjoying treats and games. Thank you to Cherry Creek School for the use of their gym and kitchen.

The success of this event would not be possible without volunteers and donations from area businesses. Thank you to NMU hockey players, Teaching Family Homes, South Shore Fishing Assoc., members from the Marquette Lions Club and friends and family of our Chocolay club members. Your help with setting up, serving food and clean up was greatly appreciated.
