To the Journal editor:

The public is invited to a Giving Tuesday event at Messiah Lutheran Church on Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All contributions will go towards Messiah’s community assistance fund to help those who need help with rent, utility bills/shut-off notices, car repair or other needs.

The event will include food, crafts, holiday music, and prizes.

After the Thanksgiving turkey, Black Friday madness, and Cyber Monday rush, Giving Tuesday is set aside to doing something that helps others. Please stop by Messiah (305 W. Magnetic St., Marquette) on Dec. 3 and see how you can help your neighbors in need.
