Rep. Bergman made the wrong vote
To the Journal editor:
(Last week), Republicans and Democrats banded together to approve a resolution opposing Mr. Trump’s acquiescence to the Turkish assault against the Kurds, who have been crucial American allies in the fight against ISIS. The measure passed, 354 to 60.
Rep. Jack Bergman was one of the 60 Republicans who declined to oppose Trump’s abandonment of the Kurds. We should keep that in mind when he runs for re-election next year.
