Vinnies says thanks
To the Journal editor:
The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry of the Marquette District offers their heartfelt thanks to our local Marquette Meijer store for their generous $5,000 gift card donation.
These cards will be used throughout the year to purchase needed items to stock the pantry shelves.
In 2018, the Marquette District Food Pantry served 10,665 of our neighbors, powered by 4,952 hours of volunteer service.
We consider ourselves very blessed to have Meijer as such a caring and generous partner. Thank you again for your support of our efforts to help our neighbors in need.
