Kindness appreciated
To the Journal editor:
Recently I took a friend to dinner at the Villa Capri and after the meal the waitress said we were “good to go.” I reminded her that she hadn’t yet brought our bill, to which she replied that the people at a nearby table paid for our dinners. I asked all the waitresses who it might have been but to no avail.
Apparently the kind and generous person(s) wished to remain anonymous. Therefore I would like to thank whomever performed the act of kindness that evening. The world is full of nice, thoughtful people.
