Thanks to power folks
To the Journal editor:
I’d like to say thank you to the folks at the Marquette Board of Light and Power who do the repair work in our community. I complain as much as the next guy about the high costs we pay for the electricity we use.
However, when we lost our power twice today during the ice storms, the crews were obviously out there working hard, because our power was restored within an hour both times. That did not happen by accident.
Thank you, too, to all the people taking the calls about the outages. That’s not an easy task, either.
