Final show great

To the Journal editor:

On behalf of the Superior String Alliance Board of Directors, staff and students, I would like to thank the Michigamme Township Board for opening the Michigamme Township Hall to us for our high school session final concert.

The Superior String Alliance is a nonprofit group who runs a Summer Music Camp for string students in grades 4-12 and supports the SSA Chamber Players who also serve as camp faculty.

This is the second year that the Michigamme Township Board has supported the ever-growing SSA high school students. The summer before last, our senior high camp outgrew the performance facility at Presbytery Point (another amazing place in Michigamme).

The Michigamme Township Board stepped in and provided the Michigamme Township Hall, a wonderful venue for the final concert. Parents, campers and other supporters love the sound, the classic architecture and the space found there.

We are truly grateful for their support and help.

Sincerely,

Randy Swaty, board president

Superior Strings Alliance
