Bible is God’s word

To the Journal editor:

In the July 29 Mining Journal, I read with interest Wally Tuccini’s rebuttal to my letter to the editor dated July 21. Apparently Wally does not believe that the Bible is “the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God.”

As proof, Wally claims that two penguins (male and female) could not have migrated from Antarctica to the location where the ark was being built. Were penguins present in Antarctica when the ark was being built? God directed all beasts, cattle, creeping things, and every bird after its kind to the ark. God is in control and does whatever He wants. In the beginning, the world was spoken into existence including everything on this planet and in the universe.

I am thankful that Wally read the sixth through the ninth chapters of Genesis. Many Biblical scholars suggest that the Bible should be read by beginning with the gospel of John. Pray that God would reveal himself to all of us and we would study the Bible and slowly read it aloud to involve more of our senses.

We should all read and study the Bible. Because, in the 14th chapter of Romans, beginning at the 10th verse it says, “we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me: every tongue will confess to God.'”

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. How will we be transported to stand before the judgment seat? It will be a one way journey to the judgment seat of God and He will provide passage for all of us. My sole goal is to tell the truth as I see it and as it is recorded in the Bible. The Bible does not support evolution. Therefore, evolution is a false doctrine. From whence comes life? God, the creator, is the only truthful answer!

P.S. In the ark there were seven of every kind of clean animal and two of every kind of unclean animal. To lighten the load and increase the available space God may have selected juvenile animals and birds in the Ark.

I serve an awesome God!
