Coach is responsible
To the Journal editor:
I have a question that maybe someone out there can answer for me.
Now that those 12 young soccer players are safely out of the cave and the hospital, why aren’t the parents or reporters questioning the coach as to why he put them in such a dangerous situation in the first place?
He had to know heavy rains were coming and when he saw how narrow some of the areas were, why not back out?
His judgement was extremely poor, to say the least!
