Congratulations to head coach Paul Jacobson and assistant coaches Dan Waterman, Jeff Niemi and Kevin Jacobson and team managers Kyle Waterman and Ty Niemi and the Negaunee High School Miners Varsity Football team on a great season. Let’s Go Miners!
Great job to the 11 seniors on the NHS varsity football team: Luke Skewis, Luke Mattson, Robbie Williams, Jacob Ennett, Carter McCracken, Travis Nelson, Jake Hill, Michael Sedlock, Brandon Rogers, Payton Marcotte, and Mason Granger.
Thank you to my cousin Eric Etelamaki for this touchdown on Aug. 31 against Calumet Copper Kings for me his cousin Scott Tuttila.

Vietnam vets dance successful

Chapter 380 of the Vietnam Veterans of America would like to thank the following for their support during our annual Dinner Dance fund raiser in October of 2017: Cliffs Natural Resources; The Ojibwa Island Casino; All Seasons Floral; Morrison’s Miracle Drug Store; Northern Michigan University; North Oak Manufacturing, Stonehouse Windows & Doors; the men in the Carpenter Shop at the Ionia Correctional Facility; as well as the following individuals: Larry & Patti Collister, D. Lemoine; Kathy Ruokalainen; Sandy Longfellow; Charlie and Sue Nickel; Ed and Lou Ouellette, Paul Makela, Pete Dollar; Jim Maki; Vic and Carol Romback; Bruce Tippett; Dawn Adam; Steve Talus; and Tracey Tippett.
