Volunteers saluted

Volunteers saluted

To the Journal editor:

I would like to take a moment to recognize the important work that non-profit board members do for organizations.

Non-profit organizations have a long and successful history in our communities and they often serve as a safety net for many services helping those less fortunate.

The leadership needed to govern non-profit organizations is as every bit critical now more than ever, and volunteer board members have a critical role in helping to ensure that community services remain accessible, affordable, effective, and mission focused.

They give of their time, talent, and resources to make our communities stronger. Great Lakes Recovery Centers is blessed to have several community members play such an important role in helping to guide the mission of serving those in need of addiction and behavioral health services.

Our current board members include: Ray Amtmann, Melody Beres, Danny Dawidowski, Richard Graybill, Jim Divine, Andy Griffin, Rob Jamros, Jacki Lykins, Pete Hendrickson, Jenny Sides, Laurence Ziomkowski, Lindsey Butorac, Mitch Leckelt and MyLynn Trulock. Thank you for your service.
