To the Journal editor:

Thanks to The Mining Journal and Smart Saver sponsors! While looking through the paper I was checking out the certificates in the Smart Savers section.

I had purchased three pairs of jeans and there was a certificate to have three pairs on jeans shortened for the price of two. I called and purchased the certificate.

We picked up the certificate and headed for the old Gossard building where Little Miss Sew and Sew is located. The owner was so friendly and the pictures and quilts are a true pleasure to look at.

In one day the pants were ready, and neatly done. What an experience. Since then I have purchased many certificate items saved lots of money and have gone to places we had never thought of visiting.
