Jim Crow revisited
To the Journal editor:
Fifteen. That is the number of states remaining which don’t allow gay marriage.
Sadly, count ours among them. History will make that count too and Michigan will forever be linked in the halls of bigotry with those states which clung to the Jim Crow laws.
Can we please put the prejudice away and move on into a brighter more tolerant future or will our state insist on clinging to hatred?
