Let voters decide
To the Journal editor:
It seems ludicrous to me, and many persons that I have spoken with, that after all the decades-long work to remove undesirable structures adjacent to the shoreline in Marquette’s Lower Harbor, that the city is supporting a warehouse’s construction in the shadow of the only downtown sandy beach remaining.
I believe that additional information is required to be supplied by the city of Marquette to the public concerning the proposed construction of the rowing club’s clubhouse/warehouse at Founders Landing beach.
Sign the petition. That way the citizens can vote on this issue.
