To the Journal editor:
I just finished reading an letter to the editor written by John Hognisto. I agreed 100 percent.
I missed the article by Sarah Redmond so I tried to figure it out.
She should read Genesis 16+17,-21-25. Here she will find out exactly what happened to Ishmael and Isaac and how each was blessed by God.
Israel does not go around taking land from anyone, in fact the size of Israel is less than New Jersey and it sure hasn’t enlarged and is nine and half miles wide at one point.
The Bible is very clear about God loving the country of Israel and its people. It even goes so far as to say, “Woe unto those who go against My people and those who try to take away the land I gave to them.”
In a interview with Benjamin Netanyahu, an educated, intelligent and articulate man, (he was) dressed in a suit and tie (and) spoke excellent English.
He went to high school in Penn., and went back home. He returned to the U.S. and graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with grades in the top of his class where he was recruited by management consultants in Boston.
On the flip side, a group of Hamas were interviewed while peering through something wrapped around their heads that resembled the scarf Randy wore in (you’ll shoot your eye out movie.) They were all adorned with 12 grenades, hand-held missile launchers, three knives and 1,200 rounds of Russian ammunition.
Naturally, they were looking to behead or kill including gays, women and anyone else who want to worship their own religion but Islam. The American native and the few who still look to the sun god, may also get the blade. Beware.
Israel is our only true ally in the middle east or in the world for that matter. They have been shelled by over 3,500 rockets recently (this per Netanyahu) and in all cases have 90 seconds to get to a shelter.
Imagine the stress level of living like this. Videos now have shown where they have gathered their citizens in groups where they send up their rockets, even after leaflets and other means of warning them. You know they have been forced or suffer the consequences.
It is hard to believe knowing this, that some in this great country lean towards these barbarians.
