The Marquette Sentinels (played in the) the USA Hockey national championship tourney in Amherst, N.Y., on April 2-6.
The Mining Journal article “Marquette U-16 girls work overtime” of March 22, 2014, gives an idea of the determination and talent of this team.
Dedicated and hard-working young people, they inspire me and I hope our community will back up the girls the way we do for other teams.
