Adopt-A-Highway fall cleanup to begin Saturday, last of 2025

Adopt-A-Highway volunteers will take to the roadsides again starting Saturday through Sept. 28 for the third and final scheduled litter collection of 2025. Adopt-A-Highway is a Michigan Department of Transportation program designed to help keep the state’s highway roadsides clean and attractive. Participants adopt both sides of a section of state highway roadside to tend for at least a two-year period. A minimum 2-mile stretch of roadway is recommended.
