Progress Edition publishes today, is snapshot of area

There are any number of ways to gauge the economic vitality of an area. Some are statistical in nature and others are anecdotal.

Superiorland residents have the best of both worlds in the annual Mining Journal Progress Edition, which publishes today for 2019.

This year, it’s over 100 pages in a dozen individual sections. It reflects where our area has been in the past 12 months and, to a significant degree, where it’s going in the next 12.

Looking for the latest on Northern Michigan University? The 2019 Progress edition has a good variety of stories and photos from campus. How about the west end or city of Marquette or the greater Gwinn/Forsyth Township area? Each has its own section. Each section tells stories, informs readers and presents a profile.

And after all, that’s what the Progress edition is: a profile of what Superiorland is, what it has to offer in the way of goods and services of all types and natures.

Our staff works hard each spring to bring readers the Progress edition. Indeed, planning started as far back as December and January on what this year’s edition should include.

Readers are therefore invited to get comfortable and see what the 2019 edition offers.

Starting at $3.23/week.
