Lots of good churches

To the Journal editor:

My husband and I recently received an anonymous letter specifically addressed (handwritten) to us. The letter described Bible teachings related to salvation, sin, and changing one’s life. The letter was mailed in a plain envelope with no return address.

At the end of the letter, four churches were listed and deemed as “good” because according to the anonymous author each of the churches “teaches from the Bible.” Unfortunately, the exceptional church that we attend was not listed.

I would love to respond to whoever sent this letter to us, but apparently the person feels compelled to hide his or her identity. I hope you read my response here: “Dear Anonymous, you failed include several wonderful churches on your list. Churches that welcome all God’s children and treat them with respect and love. If you need help expanding your list, please send me a self-addressed stamped envelope (you obviously have my address) and I will be more than happy enlighten you.
