Protests planned
To the Journal editor:
Help collectively say, no to violent, threatening, authoritarian governance that is attacking our rights, our neighbors, and our democracy by participating in a “No Kings” demonstration this Saturday, March 28.
Right now a small group of people is looting the government for their own benefit and we need to do everything we can to stop them.

People in Minnesota have just received a John F. Kennedy Library Foundation 2026 Profile in Courage Award. The foundation said it chose to honor Twin Cities residents “for risking their lives to protect their neighbors and immigrant community members from an unprecedented federal law enforcement operation, peacefully defending the human rights and values that serve as the foundation of our Constitutional democracy.”
The term ‘neighboring’ was born out of the courageous actions of Minnesotans.
Let’s all be good Minnesotans on Saturday and stand up for our beliefs and our country by showing up in the streets in historic numbers and collectively saying, “No Kings, Eh?”
