GWINN, MI- Dan Arnold Niemi, a loving husband and father, passed away peacefully at home Sunday evening, January 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Dan was born in Marquette and attended Northern Michigan University graduating with a degree in Mathematics. After serving 20 years in the Air Force he retired as a Major and spent the rest of his work-life teaching. He was always someone you could count on and didn’t hesitate to help people out, especially if it involved designing and building or repairing things.
