MARQUETTE, MI- John Duquette was born in Marquette to Bernard & Rolene Duquette. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Tribe up in Baraga. He had been a lifelong resident of the U.P. John spent many years living at the Janzen House and then eventually being moved to Norlite Nursing Home. He passed away in his sleep on December 15, 2024.
