Maki, age 85, lifelong area resident, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of her family, and nursing home staff. Betty was born in Ishpeming on January 16, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph and Violet (Roberts) Solka. She was united in marriage to her late husband Charles Maki on November 5, 1973, they shared 37 years of marriage together until his passing on June 27, 2011.
