Miyoko ‘Bunny’ McDonnell

NEGAUNEE, MI-Miyoko Tago ‘Bunny’ McDonnell, 96, of Negaunee, passed away peacefully at home Monday evening, July 14, 2025 while in the care of her loving family and UP Home Health and Hospice. Bunny was born January 20, 1929 in Tokyo, Japan to Kingiro and Kiyo (Taniguchi) Tago and graduated from high school in Japan. She met the late William McDonnnell while he was stationed in Japan during WWII and they were married before returning to the US in 1952 to live in Negaunee.
