NEGAUNEE, MI - Rodd E. Teddy, age 71, a longtime Negaunee resident passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Trillium House, surrounded by his family and in the care of Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.
Rodd was born in Highland Park, MI, on July 13, 1955, the son of Herbert and Shirley (Lidey) Teddy.
Rodd was a graduate of Ishpeming High School. He owned and operated Teddy’s Central Florist in Negaunee and Ishpeming for many years. After he sold the business, he worked for Pathways until retirement.
Rodd enjoyed creating floral arrangements and planting his many gardens with a variety of flowers and plants. He enjoyed spending time with Abby, his lab, and his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help other people.
Rodd is survived by his sisters, Mary (Bruce) Jacobson of Ishpeming, MI, Jean (Ray) Jandron of Negaunee, MI; brother, David (Mary K Milquet) Teddy of Wrightstown, WI; nieces and nephews, Brett (Jen Bagwell) Jacobson of Gwinn, MI, Casie Lucas of Ishpeming, MI, Ty (Veronica) Jacobson of Stillwater, MN, Jade (Jeff Rule) of Ishpeming, MI, Amanda Jandron of Negaunee, MI, Raena (Nick) Melser of Shakopee, MN, Ramon Jandron of Williamston, MI, and Aaron Teddy of Trout Creek, NC.
