MARQUETTE, MMI – Kristina M. Allan, 51, of Marquette, died Friday, September 25, 2026, at UP Health System-Marquette following a long battle with cancer.
She was born September 20, 1975, in Marquette, a daughter of Phillip E. Morris and Joyce (Billings) Dagenais. She was a 1993 graduate of Marquette Senior High School and earned an Associate’s degree in nursing from NMU.
Kristina was employed at Peterson Glass and H & L Mesabi before embarking on her journey as a nurse. Kristina worked at Norlite Nursing Center where she lovingly cared for the residents as an LPN earning Employee of the Month. She had planned to advance her education and career in nursing until her cancer battle no longer made that possible.
Her interests included the outdoors, rock picking, Lake Superior, camping and fishing on Bass Lake.
Kristina is survived by her daughter, Ava Allan of Marquette; mother, Joyce (Larry) Dagenais; siblings, Michelle Hult of Harvey, Brenda (Paul) Reynolds of Gwinn, Phillip E. Morris, Jr. of Mississippi and Michael Morris of Willow, AK; step-sisters, Amy (Mike) Oman of Marquette and Jackie (Jon) Mielke of Appleton, WI; step-brother, Shane (Tessa) Dagenais of Marquette; boyfriend, Derick Johnson of Gwinn; friend, Jill Beaudry of Marquette; nieces & nephews, Madison and Emilee Reynolds, Tony and Tim Hult; and former spouse, Andrew Allan of Harvey. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip “Hippo” Morris, Sr. and grandparents, Mary & William Morris and Leonard & Armande Billings.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Daryl Johnson officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
