PALM BAY, FL – WELL MOMMA, LOOK WHO FINALLY MADE THE MINING JOURNAL!
You spent years reading us the Crime Log, so it feels only fair that you get your own feature. Yorkshire pudding, cream puffs, and the latest neighborhood shenanigans. The Mining Journal was there for so much more than reading. Its pages covered the table for crafts with the girls, lined the back porch for pumpkin carving, and helped start the wood stove at the log house. I can still picture those pages scattered everywhere, right alongside the projects, the pumpkin seeds, and freshly made breakfast potatoes. That's what I love about these memories. Nothing fancy. Just you doing what you did best. I would give anything for one more dinner, one more Crime Log reading, one more ordinary day with you. Since I can't have that, I'm pretty glad I get to sneak your name into the pages of your favorite paper. You spent years making the Mining Journal part of our lives. It feels right to let it hold a little piece of you, too.
Love you 256, Momma.
