CRESTVIEW, FL - Beatrice Melanie (Robare) Zick, age 81, of Crestview, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. She was born May 22, 1945, in Ishpeming, MI, to Lawrence "Buster" and Violet Robare.
Beatrice was a graduate of Ishpeming High School. Throughout her life, she lived in Michigan, Thailand, North Carolina, England UK, and Florida. She dedicated her working years to serving others through her employment with First Bank of Crestview, Lutheran Ministries, and Hope House.
Beatrice married her beloved husband, Gary Allen Zick, on September 29, 1962. Together, they share a lifetime of love, family, and memories.
Beatrice found joy in the simple things in life, especially sewing, quilting, and reading. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Zick; her sons, Tim Zick (Stacey) and Dustin Zick (Jeri); her grandchildren, Misty, Brandon, Josh, Chelsy, Selene, and Mary Ashley; and her great-grandchildren, Madisen, Caden, Brayden, Tripp, Franny, Sebastian, Evelynn, and Dax.
She is also survived by her sister, Laurel Logan; sisters-in-law, Betty Potter and Linda Madsen (Gary); as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence "Buster" and Violet Robare; her son, Todd Zick; her sister, Nancy Pallin; and brothers-in-law, Don Pallin and Terry Potter.
Her memory will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends who loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
