NAPLES, FL – In Loving Memory of Brooke Adams Bertolini Brooke, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on 08/30/2026, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.
Born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Brooke was a proud graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School, Class of 1980. She went on to dedicate many years of her life to the Grosse Pointe Public School System, where she worked until her retirement. She was also a familiar and friendly face behind the bar at Marge's Bar, where she spent many years working as a bartender and made countless friendships along the way.
Brooke found joy in the simple things in life. She loved walking along the beach, searching for beautiful pieces of beach glass, and turning her finds and creativity into arts and crafts. She cherished time spent with her friends and family and had a gift for making the people around her feel loved and welcome.
Above all else, her three grandchildren were the light of her life. She treasured every moment with them and was endlessly proud of the people they were becoming. The memories, love, laughter, and traditions she shared with them will remain with them forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Bertolini; her two children, Kelly Bertolini (Malyssa Suarez) and Joseph Bertolini; her three beloved grandchildren, Holden, Sawyer and Lincoln; and her five brothers and sisters, Kurt Adams, Kris Kosinski, Clark Adams, Jeff (Marcie) Adams, and Todd (Maureen) Adams.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Camilla Adams, as well as her brother in law, John Kosinski. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
Her absence leaves an immeasurable hole in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched, the friendships she made, the treasures she found along the shore, and most of all, in her family.
There will be no funeral service at this time. A memorial celebrating Brooke's life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements are finalized.
She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever be a part of us.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
