GWINN, MI – Kristine (Mayworm) Johnson, 73, of Sands Township, entered eternal life unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the University of Michigan.
Kris was born October 11, 1952 in Marquette Michigan to John "Jack" Mayworm and Joan Brozek. Kris was a 1970 graduate of Marquette High School. She attended Northern Michigan University and attained a degree in business.
She worked at the University for many years where she later retired. She enjoyed riding horses, cooking, watching football, planting flowers, tending to her bird feeders, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, John Johnson (Laurie Gallien), Dean Johnson, and Jessica Johnson; grandchildren, Zachary and Lucas; and brother, Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carl Johnson; b,rother Alan Mayworm; fiance, Wayne "Scott" Fosco.
In respect of Kris's wishes no funeral service will be held.
