Rita C. McGuire

Rita was born on July 8, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to Albert and Marian (Simmons) Heinz.

Rita dedicated many years to working in customer service for Walmart at various locations, retiring from the Marquette store. She also previously managed the Animal Inn in Sands, where she enjoyed caring for animals.

Rita found joy in gardening, especially tending to her many plants, and loved spending time bird watching. She also loved sewing and had a passion for tattoos. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Benjamin (Lori) Coley of Gwinn, Courtney McGuire of Phoenix, Arizona, and Amber McGuire of Gwinn; her grandchildren, Isabella Coley and Anessa (Zoie Huston) McGuire; her siblings, Bobbi (Bill) Coley, Cherri Heinz, and Tim Heinz; along with several nieces and nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael McGuire.

In accordance with Rita’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
