Mary Frances Anderson
FORT WAYNE, IN – Mary Frances Anderson, 93, of Fort Wayne passed away, July 6, 2026, at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne, IN, surrounded by her family.
Mary Frances was born January 6, 1933, in Negaunee, Michigan, to the late Joseph and
Mary (Eisemann) Sedlock. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Mary Frances was married to Robert W. Anderson of Ishpeming, Michigan, on January 14, 1956. Mary Frances and Bob were madly in love for 68 years until Bob’s passing. They raised two sons and a daughter during Bob’s 35-year career with Michigan Bell and AT&T. Mary Frances was active in her parish as a cantor and choir member, and she supported various Knights of Columbus fundraising activities. In Fort Wayne, Mary Frances was active in the Christ Child Society.
Surviving are two sons, Patrick (Julie) Anderson of Clinton Township, Michigan; Mark
(Caitriona) Anderson of San Francisco, California; Anne Marie (David) Beckett of Fort
Wayne; sister, Dorothy Millard of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; three grandsons, Erik (Emily) Anderson, Robert (Lynn) Beckett, Ryan Anderson; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Joshua) Getto, great-grandchildren Eleanor, Philip, and Thomas Beckett; Lyle, Ada Jane, and Rosalie Anderson; and Hannah Getto.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her grandchild Matthew Anderson and by brothers Joseph, Emery, and Ray Sedlock; and by sisters Genevieve (Clifford) Anderson, Theresa (Michael) Dufalo, and Margaret (Sylvio) Mascotti.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30, Friday, 7/10/26, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with calling two hours prior. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.
The family is very appreciative of the outstanding care that Mary Frances received from the stay at Heritage Pointe, Fort Wayne during the past 2 ½ years.
