HOWELL, MI – Her Legacy... Caroline (Bianchi) Pezzotti, 83, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026.
Born on May 1, 1943, in Marquette, Michigan, Caroline was the beloved daughter of Maffeo Bianchi and Leonilda (Cherico) Bianchi. On August 10, 1963, she married the love of her life, Eugene Pezzotti, in Gwinn, Michigan, beginning a marriage filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories. Carol will be remembered most for her warm heart, genuine kindness, and remarkable ability to connect with everyone she met. She never knew a stranger, and her welcoming spirit quickly turned acquaintances into lifelong friends.
In her younger years, Carol enjoyed an active life, spending time golfing, bowling, working part-time and singing in the choir at St. Paul of Tarsus Church, in Clinton Township. As the years went by, her greatest joys were spending time with her family, especially shopping with her “girls”, visiting the casinos, wintering in Florida with her husband and enthusiastically cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. Carolás love for her family, her joyful spirit, and her gift for making others feel welcome will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her Family... Caroline will be missed by her husband, Eugene Pezzotti; her children, Cheryl (Wayne) Hanewicz, Michelle Pezzotti, Dean (Amy) Pezzotti; grandchildren, Stephanie, Daniel, Dean, Jacob, Joseph, Sabrina; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maffeo and Leonilda Bianchi: siblings, Lena Boogren, Martha Grade, Frank Bianchi, Eugene Bianchi, John Bianchi.
Her Farewell... Caroline's family and friends will gather 4:00-8:00pm, Thursday July 30, 2026 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Howell, Michigan. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am (10am gathering), Friday, July 31, 2026, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Howell, Michigan. Father Francis George will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
