Susan Marie Grondz

Susan was born on August 15, 1949 in Detroit, MI, to Alexander and Mary Ann (Nowacrewski) Gryniewicz.

Susan was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming and former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gwinn.

She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother.

Susan is survived by her two sons, David and Michael (Kristen) Grondz; three grandsons, Gabriel, Damian and Xavier Grondz; and brother-in-law, Mark Woznick. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Conrad Grondz; and her sister, Cynthia Woznick.

Visitation will begin at 10a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. in the church with Rev. Larry Van Damme officiating. Interment will take place in the Gwinn Cemetery.
