Sharon Elizabeth Hahka

Sharon was born on November 26, 1939, in Ishpeming, Michigan, to Ralph Tripp and Lillian (Chapman) Tripp. She was raised in Ishpeming and graduated from Ishpeming High School. Following graduation, she began her career in the legal field, working as a legal secretary, a profession she dedicated many years to with care and professionalism. She ultimately retired from Steven Johnson’s law firm.

While in high school, Sharon met the love of her life, Richard Hahka. The couple was united in marriage on June 28, 1958, and shared many years together until his passing.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her two daughters, Sheri (Glen) Nottle and Staci Hahka, both of Marquette; four grandchildren, Adam Hahka of Two Harbors, MN, Cyle (Bree Murdock) Hahka of Eden Prairie, MN, Lauren (Marcus) Sova of Marquette, and Chelsea Nottle of Chicago; and one great-grandson, Denon Sova of Marquette. She is also survived by a special niece, Debbie Sanchez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Hahka; and her son, Scott Hahka.

Honoring her wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
