James Ronald Parker

Born January 14, 1961, in Marquette, Michigan, he was the son of James and Mary Parker of James Island, South Carolina. He moved to James Island with his family in 1967 and was a graduate of Bishop England High School.

Mr. Parker retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 24 years of honorable service. Following his military career, he worked in police security for the U.S. government, serving on military bases around the world.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Parker; son, Alec Parker; stepdaughter, Mary Gross; parents, James and Mary Parker, sister, Teresa Bennett (David); brother, Randall Parker (Jody); and several nieces and nephews. Aunts, Elizabeth Green and Jacqueline Adamson. He was preceded in death by brother, Daniel Parker.
