Ayden Johnson

Ayden was born February 6, 2004 in Ishpeming to Andrew and Jennifer (Mackey) Johnson. He was a proud graduate of Negaunee High School, Class of 2022.

Ayden was most recently employed at Robin’s Flooring Mill in Ishpeming as an operator. An ambitious, driven and hard-working young man, he enjoyed working out, weightlifting, boxing and meticulously caring for his truck. Ayden also loved being with friends and family around a bon fire on the Dead River Basin, especially his best buddy, Evan Grant.

Surviving are his loving parents; maternal grandmother, Jody Mackey; his big brother, Loren Johnson of Negaunee; his sister, Cristine (Michael Deprey) Larson and their children, Adalynn and Jameson of Green Bay; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Austen Larson in 2017; paternal grandparents: Lawrence ‘Larry’ and Alice ‘Cookie’ Johnson; and his maternal grandfather, Gerald Mackey.

A Celebration of Ayden’s Life will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to a charity of your choice.
