Robert Philip Anderson
RENO, NV – Robert Philip Anderson (1937-2026), a Navy veteran and visionary entrepreneur, was born in Marquette, Michigan. The youngest child of Mathias and Aurora Anderson, he is predeceased by his sisters, Betty Donckers and June Hare; his wife of sixteen years, Carolyn Bartelli Selinger; and his daughter Carol Pallai, who passed away twelve days before him. As a boy, he worked as a caddy at the Marquette Golf Club, instilling both a legendary work ethic and lifelong love of the game. He co-founded TBI, Inc. in Carson City, Nevada in 1976, building a leading liquid measurement firm. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Thronson and Laura Smith, and four grandchildren.
