James J. Anderson

James was born on June 20, 1930, in Negaunee, Michigan. He was a proud graduate of Negaunee High School. Following his graduation, James honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery and dedicated service.

After returning home, James began a long and steady career with Grede Foundries at the Iron Mountain Foundry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

James is survived by his sisters-in-law, Deanna Anderson of Swartz Creek and Shelby Anderson of Ishpeming, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Raymond and Oscar Anderson.

Honoring James’ wishes, no public services will be held. Interment will take place in the family plot at Negaunee Cemetery.
